I teach blues piano using my first Schott publication Improvising Blues Piano, the best-selling blues piano book on the market.
More advanced students often progress to the sequel Blues, Boogie & Gospel Collection, which contains 15 pieces for solo piano in a variety of styles.

EVENING CLASSES: I taught weekly classes based on Improvising Blues Piano for over 20 years, at Morley College in Waterloo.
As of July 2026 I'm no longer running these classes. The only Blues Piano course I'm now offering is the Blues Piano Basics short course at Benslow Music (Hitchin, Herts) - 3 days in August.
