Tim Richards - Teaching

Education

Tim has over twenty years' experience of teaching JAZZ and BLUES PIANO and IMPROVISATION, privately, in secondary schools, adult education colleges and at degree level. He has also led WORKSHOPS for all instruments at various levels, from beginners to advanced. In 2006 he gained a teaching qualification from Goldsmiths College - the GRADUATE DIPLOMA in MUSIC TEACHING to ADULTS.

Tim's blues piano tutor has been widely acclaimed since publication by Schott & Co in 1997, and has been reprinted five times and translated into German. It was voted Best Publication at the 2004 Frankfurt Music Fair.
